Passed by the restaurant 2 years ago. Then I gave 5 stars. Good simple food, deliciously prepared and you could leave the table full. Polite and welcoming staff, who readily changed the menu so that it suited one's needs. Visited again recently, and unfortunately now have to give 2 stars. The restaurant has become beautiful, it is nice and clean. However, I and my entourage did not manage to get anything to eat. The restaurant was certainly open, and there was a buffet, but it required some kind of pre-order, in any case we were not allowed to buy some of the food. Half of the tables were empty, both outside and inside, and some of the guests seemed to have the same experience as us, some drove again, others settled for chips and beer for lunch. We were also offered something to drink and a small bowl of chips, we couldn't get any food, not even rye bread, butter and some cold cuts. Not even though we stated we had plenty of time. So disappointed we had to set course for Hobro, where in return we got to satisfy our hunger. Yes, the place has become nice with freshly painted baseboards and art and decorations on the walls, chips and sparkling water, but the hospitality and the simple but good food have disappeared. Was later informed that the restaurant has a new owner and got someone well-known to rebrand/decorate the place... The restaurant probably has lots of good reviews, however, they are from the previous owner of the place. The view is fine both 2 years ago and now, fortunately it has not been rebranded by a well-known artist. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Today we were at Restaurant Bramslev Bakker. It was a mixed experience. First impression: Parking was confusing. The traditional spaces were occupied, and thus a nearby green space was used for parking, but without order and the area was well swamped. In addition, the information about parking in relation to EasyPark was insufficient. But these are trifles. The food: We got stars and burgers as well as a snack platter for starters, which was a two-person starter combined with optional beer. The burger and fries were very good. They resemble any other café burger, no more, no less. Serving remoulade for a burger with fries felt a little strange. In my world, French fries and remu only belong together with a fish fillet or half an eagle in a nest from the grill. The starfish was really nice and the fish was delicious and crispy. A little more dressing to go with it and more bread under the fish would have been great, but that is very individual. The snack plate arrived together with the rest of the food, which was a bit of a shame as it was a starter. Seen from a business perspective, such a plate is designed to make you thirstier, so if we had had it with the drinks, we would probably have bought another round of beer, which, all else being equal, must be what a restaurateur is interested in ... The mood: Really bad acoustics. We were seated at the bar where the employees were in the middle of a wine tasting with a wine representative who was very loud. We asked for another table in the adjacent room. Thank God the view was just as good, as that's what you come for besides the food... Probably would have chosen to hold such a wine tasting at a time when you don't have paying guests in the restaurant, or at least hold it in a room where you don't bother the guest... The service: Don't want to bash the young people too much, because it's basically not their fault. They simply lack training in how to serve the guest as well as insight into their own products. And away with the block, you should be able to remember a table for four... But that is again a sign of inexperienced/untrained staff. Will I come again? No, not for my own money... Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
