Unfortunately you notice that they are closing in a few days. The majority of the staff left us with the impression of indifference. There was hardly any motivation either, for example we waited almost 90 minutes for the starter, with not too many guests. It's a shame, it was really great to eat there. Kid-friendliness: There is an extra map for children and activities for young and old. We appreciated that! One of the best restaurants I ate in. Food was great, service was quick and it was a nice, quiet place. Can be a little pricey but it's within reason. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: CHF 30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I've been coming to Fontana for decades. I recently celebrated my 50th birthday here. The whole Fontana team (kitchen and service) are simply great. “The classic” for me is the Wiener schnitzel! I've never eaten anything so delicious outside of Austria. But everything else on the menu and wine list is also recommended. There is nothing that doesn't taste good (and yes - I can be picky). According to its website, the Fontana will close its doors forever on November 15, 2024. I find that very unfortunate and makes me sad. Until then, I will eat there several more times myself. I would be happy if the Fontana was fully booked every day until it closed and could have a really nice ending. So - off to the Fontana!!! @Fontana team Thanks for everything over the last 20 years!
