Disappointing in every way. Ambience was ok, service was ok. We had a reservation for a five course meal, which there was only a four course gourmet menu, or to pick ala carte. The bread was sad, the soup was salty and sad, the appetizer was alright, but not anything special. My husband ended up picking from the regular card, and his portion and food was good, I ordered duck breast and ended up with a sliver of breast, one small potato and a bite of zucchini...all of that was not great either. The creme brulee was not caramelized, and the other dessert was also nothing to remember. We were offered a coffee, since I did say something about the portion size. Compared to Hotel Riegersburg or other fine dining in the area, I would never recommend this place. Price per person: €50–60 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

wunderbarer Rahmen für besondere Anlässe. sehr schönes Ambiente. sehr freundliches Service. Speisen absolut Top!! bieten auch Picknickkörbe an :) Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €70–80 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Quitten Frizzante

Were in the restaurant's garden this afternoon. The four of us sat down at an unreserved table and after about 5 minutes the waitress asked us to get up because this table was now reserved. We then wanted to sit at the next table, but the waitress said that wasn't possible because it hadn't been cleared away yet. Due to a lack of staff, she doesn't have time to remove the dishes now. Whereupon we were “forced to leave the guest garden”. This despite the fact that at least 10 to 15 people could have sat at the table in question. It was also clear that at least 5 people were working in service. Not exactly customer-friendly and bad advertising for tourism in Styria.
