All vegan bar with a solid breakfast menu. I recommend the biscuits and gravy with sausage from The Herbivorous Butcher. The polenta rancheros were also great.

My first experience at Reverie for lunch was awesome. I came in for brunch on a Thursday. Our food took over 30 minutes to come out. Hubby ordered the mushroom benedict and the server came out with one at the 25 minute mark. She begins going table to table to ask if people ordered the mushroom benedict, except she skips our table. My husband goes up to her and says he ordered it and she says it's not his, yet she still cannot find the rightful owner. 5 minutes prior hubby had gone up to the counter to check on our order and the server told him it would be a few more minutes. We got in at around 10:15 am and did not receive our meal until 11 am. When our food finally does arrive with no "thanks for waiting" or being patient, I was pretty irritated with the service that I couldn't enjoy it. I got the rev plate and it stated that it came with coconut rice but it was plain white rice. I had loved this place and had even recommended it to others but unless you want to wait until your first born graduates high school to get your food with no friendliness factor at that I'd think twice.

This joint has a pretty scruffy hippie vibe, but they serve delicious grub and fine draft beers. I enjoyed the hell out of the hummus, the caesar salad, and especially the roasted cauliflower dip. This last was quite a unique find. And I don't know where they get their tomatoes from in early July, but they were exquisite. No a/c, apparently, so when it is hot outside, it is hot inside.
