My favourite Vietnamese restaurant.
They have fast and friendly service- it's usually a 45 minute stay only. Their food is delicious every-time, with generous servings, and not overly expensive.
Their vermicelli plates are amazing!
Whenever I crave Vietnamese-style food, this is always the place I go.

Was in the area and we needed dinner, weren't really expecting much and it ended up being pretty decent-yay. Prices were great we both ordered off the specials menu, lemongrass chicken on vermicelli noodles which came with a starter soup-wor wonton, plus we ordered a dish of Vietnamese spring rolls. The soup was actually just awesome, I'm a fanatic about soup broth, it has to have that real broth flavour that only a serious soup guru gets. This soup was yummy. Very fresh veggies, homemade wontons, and dynamite broth. Our dishes came and had a little heat to them, no complaints here, lots of fresh lettuce, cucumber, sprouts, carrots topped with vermicelli and then the panfried lemongrass chicken with onions and peppers on top. Veggies were cooked crisp just right. I was pleased to see lots of the fresh veggies sometimes it seems with the vermicelli bowls lately there's less and less of the salad veggies. Spring rolls were average no complaints. Service was slower than usual for a Vietnamese place but the ma and pa owners/managers/cooks/server duo were sweet and friendly. I couldn't help but notice everyone else in there was clearly a regular and very friendly with the restauranteurs, seemed happy to just hang out lazily at the restaurant. Floor was a bit dirty but I am a clean freak myself.

Great service:). Me and my husband came to eat this morning.coz we're craving for their satay soup,but then my husband ordered a cucumber salad. Suddenly I noticed that the server holding the dressing walking inside the kitchen while we're kinda dabating whether to get dressing or not. After a while she came out to check us up.she's still the same as before very friendly. I told her we don't need the dressing, and I noticed that she felt relieved.me and my husband thought that the dressing might be expired or something. We're glad that even she's by herself she managed to catch up with us, how are we doin even though she got 3 tables, including us.so I had to comment that over at Rice Pad, You can't go wrong.the server was so reliable, that's so nice of her that she care a lot for the business and being very honest of what to give to the customer like us.good job Rice pad.
