The owner was very welcoming and helpful! The gumbo was some of the best that me and my family have ever had. We ended up leaving with 2 more quarts to take home back to Texas. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20

Food was amazing! My family is a family of 8, including myself. We loved the jambalaya bucket. Although we got the Large, next time we'll definitely order the XL. We had the mix of jambalaya, Chicken and pork, and it was divine! The older man, and the younger guy were rather funny, easy going, understanding and truly authentic. Unlike most workers would read off of a script or repeat the same welcoming. It wasn't busy that day, but the atmosphere was calming, and quite nice honestly. It has a rustic almost bar and relax vibe. The atmosphere reminds you of sitting at a barbecue cook out with food in the air. Quite nice in my opinion. As for the rest of the food, I'm sorry I can't speak much about that. Although I will say, would definitely go again. Bring your appetite, and definitely bring your paycheck. Discovered Rice & Roux via google and was excited to give them a try. The food is not so much season like true Cajun cuisines, but it was good. I would suggest more seasoning to enhance your flavors to meet the expectations. Other than the service was great and staff checked on me twice. Additionally, the atmosphere is relaxing, so you can enjoy your meal fully. Thanks! Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
