This bar is hands down the best and most entertaining place to be if you're not an immature 20 something or a boomer. I can't believe some of these reviews. There are 9 different venues in one here, so to be upset at one bar tender or one type of vibe is honestly just a personal problem. As far as the drinks go, don't expect cocktail level drinks at a bar focused on free live entertainment and dancing. I would say I'm a pretty picky person in general but that's because I consider the expectation vs reality. If you want to have fun, shake it on the dance floor and be entertained this is the place for you. If you are expecting lightening fast service in a crowded bar or the royal treatment then you should go somewhere more focused on those things. I'm in my late 30s and didn't feel too out of place-there were young people and older folks; it was a good mix but the music selection on both floors skewed toward the millennial ages which is also one reason why it was awesome for me, but depending on your demographic, you may have a different experience. There are plenty of places for the OLD people to go, and other vibes for the really young ones, but if anything, I think 20 somethings would enjoy it. I love this place I will be back every visit! My wife and I stopped here while our cruise ship was docked at port for the day. While parasailing, we were told by Alex (Fury Parasailing / ship's mate) to ask for Errin as she makes a version of a Long Island Iced Tea she calls a "Small" Island Iced Tea. Luckily, Errin was working when we got there. She is an awesome bartender and her "Small" Island Iced Tea did not disappoint! We were also fortunate to experience Adrian who was a comic and played the guitar. He was hilarious and had the who place in rolling in laughter! My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Rick's Bar and will definitely come back the next time we are in Key West! Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
