My family mostly goes to this location for the vibes. Always tasty. Solid prices on the meals. The very few times we’ve had problems with our orders, the staff were always down to fix it at no charge. I’m writing this the day after I slammed two 12-piece nugget combos. I came here for the ducks only, jk. I had the xL Hot & man I was sweatin. The fries were delicious as well. Small location but they have a great system which keeps a constant flow inside. Great spot and great food Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The chicken was delicious and flavorful. My wife ordered a sandwich, mild, and I ordered the 3 tender plate with A-Bomb. The flavor of both was excellent. The chicken was perfectly cooked and served hot. The A-Bomb is probably one of the spiciest things I've ever ordered in a restaurant. The cashier warned me before I ordered, so I was thrilled that it lived up to expectations. Most places that claim to have very spicy food really don't live up to the hype; those that do will often mix their sauces with capsaicin extract to artificially boost the heat without adding any flavor. Ricky's stands out as the exception. The A-Bomb flavor is a mixture of hot oil (I think it's cayenne pepper infused into the cooking oil), habanero, ghost, scorpion, and Carolina reaper peppers. I could taste all of those in the seasoning without a hint of extract or artificial stuff. There was just a hint of sweetness to it that blended nicely with the heat of the peppers. I'll say this: if you're not into hot peppers, do NOT order the A-Bomb. But if you're like me and looking for the holy grail of face-destroying, gut-bombing, euphoric-endorphin-rush-inducing Nashville Hot chicken, look no further than Ricky's Hot Chicken.
