Amazing venue, Awesome hosts, A customer service experience second to none! We organised an event with Riley St Garage, at their Busby Private Dining room in order to celebrate my partner’s 30th birthday - it was a very memorable and fun night for the birthday girl and very well received from our 15 other guests! We planned this event a few months in advance and saw more than a handful of venues, with most unable to cater for the 15-20 people we were targeting (most of the available options were either capped at 10-12 or at least >30-40 people). This was a complete non-issue at all for Riley St Garage, immediate able to work with our numbers. Venue space: Spacious. For the number of people we had and in comparison to many other venues we saw, Riley St Garage had the biggest floor space and the “Private” in private dining was very true to its word - as we were able to put our Karaoke microphones to good use! Food: Excellent. My partner and I did purposely dine there beforehand to try out the food and it was perfect. Absolutely loved the Mushroom Hot Pot! Planning: Smooth. Everything from their website to their run-sheet template was very well set out, relatively clear to understand and informative. The biggest positive from all this was both our interactions with Kelly Englezos - she was very patient with all the questions we had, accomodating with our requests and super responsive! Never did she make us feel like we needed to chase/follow her up. Event Hosts: Fun, Friendly and Patient. We were hosted throughout the night by Harry and Josh who were both such a pleasure to work with during the night. Knowing they also had a event during the day prior to ours, I came in 1.5hrs earlier to help set up and unknowingly took away some of their “break” time before they started with our event. However, both were very accommodating from the moment I entered and easy to chat with. Only minor feedback point would have been for both Josh/Harry to have been more involved with topping up drinks with the guests at the table during the free flow package as I found myself checking up with each guest then asking Josh/Harry to get someone their drink. Facilities: Great outcome. There were two TVs for which we ended up only using one. Both TVs didn’t have in-built Wifi but this was resolved through their Chromecast adapter. Another point of feedback would be to consider being able to incorporate AirPlay as well - this would have helped me avoid bringing over my heavy laptop. But otherwise, we were happy with how it all turned out. Thank you again to the team at Riley St Garage - will not hesitate recommending you to others, not only for the food and venue but also for the great team of people behind Riley St Garage! We recently had our wedding reception at Riley St Garage and had the ABSOLUTE BEST NIGHT. We couldn't imagine a better reception venue. The food was amazing and the team were outstanding, some of the best hospitality in Sydney. Every single time we've visited Riley St we've left so full and happy!!
