Its a gallery, the one downside to it is that the elevator only goes up to the highest floor. If you are on any floor than the ground floor or the seventh it means no elevator. Not wheelchair accessible.

The Rize Çay Bardağı: An Icon of Turkish CultureThe traditional Turkish tea glass, universally recognized as the Rize Çay bardağı (or ince belli, meaning "slim-waisted"), is much more than a simple drinking vessel. Originating from the lush, tea-producing Rize Province on Turkey’s eastern Black Sea coast, this iconic glass is a symbol of hospitality, daily connection, and a marvel of everyday culinary engineering.Iconic Tulip ShapeThe design of the Rize tea glass is immediately recognizable by its distinct tulip-shaped silhouette. It features a delicate, narrow waist that elegantly curves outward towards a wider, flared rim. This specific geometry is not merely for visual aesthetic appeal; it serves highly practical purposes. The narrow middle section fits naturally and ergonomically into the palm of the hand, while also preventing the heat from transferring entirely, making it easy to hold without handles. The curvy bowl at the bottom allows the boiling hot tea to gather, keeping the temperature stable. As you lift the glass to take a sip, the wider mouth allows the intense aroma of the tea to waft up into the air, enhancing the entire sensory experience before the liquid even touches your lips.Transparency and Color CelebrationThese traditional glasses are crafted from perfectly clear, transparent glass. This is a crucial element of the tea-drinking ritual in Turkey. Because the Rize black tea brews into a rich, deep red or mahogany color, often affectionately described as "tavşan kanı" (rabbit's blood), the transparent glass allows both the host and the guest to admire the exact strength and vibrant hue of the brew. The Tactile and Social ExperienceHolding a Rize Çay bardağı is a tactile experience. Traditionally, because the glass holds no handle, the drinker holds it delicately by the rim or by the narrow waist. When sugar is added, the design ensures that a standard teaspoon can easily reach the bottom, producing that high-pitched, satisfying clinking sound that echoes through bustling Turkish tea gardens.Typically, the glass is served resting on a small, matching saucer, often adorned with intricate patterns. The compact size of the glass ensures that the tea is consumed quickly while it is perfectly hot, rather than letting it sit and cool down.A Symbol of GenerosityIn Turkey, the offering of tea is an act of warmth, generosity, and welcome. Whether you are a guest in a family home, negotiating a carpet in the Grand Bazaar, or riding a ferry across the Bosphorus, you will almost certainly be served steaming black tea in an ince belli glass. It is a humble yet essential piece of daily life that brings people together and embodies the rich cultural heritage of Anatolia
