We enjoyed a marvelous meal at Roe last week! Do not miss the scrumptious asparagus with sea beans and the gorgeous beet salad with blackberries--both works of art in terms of texture, color and flavor. Also congrats on your pillowy gnocchi. I forgot to ask the name of our server, but he did an excellent job. Overall Roe has a fun vibe and we look forward to returning to try more of your wonderful food. Thank you. Strangely labored over the 4 star and easily could have gone with three. The food is truly exceptional, and we especially loved the gnocchi, asparagus, and beet dishes. The cocktails were also fabulously prepared. I've had better service at Olive Garden at 1/4 the price. I don't know that it was his fault, because he likely was covering more tables than was reasonable, but I think actually smiling and giving a greeting is reasonable to expect. Ended up tipping higher than normal because he left the bill and didn't come back for a very extended time. The restaurant is clean and the decor is chic, however, the noise level at times during the meal prevented conversation. All this would be fine if I was part of one of several loud groups there, but with interest in a romantic dinner, sitting on a cafe style chair in a room with a concrete floor and ending up spending $200... I just didn't see the value. It was still a great experience because of the amazing food and company. Glanced over in the bar area on the way to the restroom, which ironically was much quieter at the time. If I return, I likely would use that as an option. Price per person: $90–100 Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2 Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes

My new favorite restaurant in Bellingham! Everything we had was amazing from the chicken nuggets and caviar to the Steak Frites. Adults and kids both devoured everything they put in front of us! Price per person: $40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
