We visited at 7:20 p.m., about 40 minutes before closing, hoping to grab a coffee. Unfortunately, we were told we couldn’t be served because the barista had already cleaned the coffee machine in preparation for closing. We had to leave without ordering anything. It’s especially disappointing because we’ve always loved this café and made a point of coming back whenever we’re in the area. We understand the need to clean up before closing, but refusing to serve coffee so long before closing time was frustrating and not the experience we expected from a place we used to enjoy.

We really like going to Rokava, they have excellent desserts. What I unfortunately have to point out is that yesterday my partner and I arrived at 6:40 p.m. and we wanted coffee to go (they close at 8:00 p.m.)... the lady told us that if they didn't have anyone there, they had to close and she wouldn't give us coffee, that the only thing she could give us so dessert is to go. So I don't know what is the ideal time to go there for a coffee in the evening...
