Rolet Kebab is one of those places in Tehran that offers a truly different dining experience. The first thing that stands out is the atmosphere — it has a nostalgic, almost vintage Iranian vibe, with colorful decor, handwritten notes from customers, and a warm, lively ambiance that makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. The concept is simple but unique: they mainly serve rolled koobideh kebab wrapped in lavash bread. The food itself is tasty and satisfying, especially considering the price, though the menu is quite limited. If you’re looking for variety or a full traditional Persian meal with rice and multiple dishes, this might not be the place — but for a quick, flavorful, and casual bite, it works really well. What really elevates the experience is the vibe. On weekends, there’s often live music, and the whole place feels energetic and social. The staff are generally friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall positive experience. That said, portions might feel a bit small for some people, and the food, while good, isn’t necessarily exceptional compared to top-tier kebab restaurants in Tehran. Very different experience from any other restaurant. There is no service, you have to do everything yourself, e.g if you want some tea you have to get up and pour some for yourself, also there is a coffee machine with no barista to make a coffee. If you want something you have to stand up and simply go for it. The food is only one option kebab rolled in lavash bread. Very delicious Very delightful.
