Had such a great time at Azul Rooftop recently! The vibe around the fire pits is so nice and the rooftop views are amazing especially right as the sun goes down.Drinks were really good and the staff was friendly and quick. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I brought my mother here for her first time in Austin specifically for the famous views, and while the scenery and the hotel staff were wonderful, the actual rooftop experience was very below par. I unfortunately wouldn't recommend it based on our visit. The Service: Our server was incredibly short and rude from the start. The server- (athletic shorts and a tank top) had a major negative tone and attitude. She interjected herself into a private conversation regarding my toddler, and when we asked basic questions about kid-friendly drinks or beer options, she was dismissive and unhelpful. The Food: As a Mexican family, we have high standards for Mexican cuisine, and this was "mid" at best. Our main entrees arrived before our appetizer (chips and salsa). When we asked about the delay, the server stated only one person in the back to make us feel bad for asking. To make matters worse, the tacos were served freezing cold, making them very unpleasant to eat. The Bill: The most frustrating part was the forced 20% gratuity. I had accidentally marked "5" on the reservation, but we were clearly a party of 4 adults and one toddler. They charged us the large-party gratuity anyway, despite the service being subpar. The view is great, but it wasn't worth the cold food and the hostile service. There are much better places in ATX to take out-of-town guests. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

We spent our anniversary on the rooftop with the best views and exceptional service. Sabrina took excellent care of us and made sure we felt celebrated and that our glasses were never empty. We will be chasing that experience for the rest of the year. Thanks Azul, thanks Sabrina. Price per person: $30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
