Very sad leaving today. We are new to the area and recently visited this bowling alley with my grandson, who has a health condition. Overall, we had a really enjoyable time and were glad to find a place where he could have fun. However, toward the end of our 30 minute bowling visit & planned to play arcade games in a few minutes as well, there was an upsetting interaction with a staff member. My grandson’s ball rolled short and stopped a few feet before the lane. I stepped just past the foul line to pick it up, not realizing how slick the surface was, and nearly slipped but did not fall. As I was helping my grandson place the bowling ball in his hands to try again, a manager approached and very strongly and loudly told me, in front of my grandson & several people around me, that I should not cross the line and referenced safety concerns. I completely understand the importance of safety rules and liability in an environment like this, and I acknowledged that I was unaware of the posted sign. However, the tone of the interaction felt unnecessarily harsh and confrontational. I would have appreciated a calmer explanation or a simple check-in to ensure I was okay before being spoken to in that manner when I'd never met the person. While we enjoyed most of our visit, this experience left us feeling uncomfortable, and it affected our overall impression of the establishment. We hope future interactions with guests can be handled with more patience and courtesy.

Such a fun experience at Rowlett Bowl-a-Rama. I flew in from KS to visit my best friend for her birthday. We had a wonderful interaction with Sean and the girl that was working with him, she gave us glow bracelets to go with our black light socks. Sean gave a big shout out for my bestie for her birthday. They made our bowling night feel even more special. We will definitely make this a tradition everytime I visit. Thank you Rowlett Boel-a-Rama for such a memorable experience.

Bowl-a-Rama is a wonderful place, even with the crowds the vibes are great and the price is worth it. I've gone several times, both with a reservation and without, and both times was smooth from door to lane. Smaller arcade than most but still enough to have fun, can't wait to go back!
