They were opened on the 4th of July. Food was great!! Everyone ate everything. Would come back if we make it back to town Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

A hole in the wall you should absolutely not miss. They had a smoked sausage jambalaya special which I had with 'thunder and lightning' cucumber tomato salad and some slaw. Came with a nice, dense roll. Rice was individual and tender, spice level was warm and pleasant. Service warm and caring. Looks run down, but the food is real. They do breakfast and lunch, and I'd definitely consider stopping in for either. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

If I could give Rube's negative stars, I would. I realize that they had probably been overrun with the influx of archers who descended on Metropolis for the archery tournament, that some of the customers they encountered over the weekend may have been a lot to deal with, or that they could have been overworked or understaffed. However, we were not the cause of any of it. We simply wanted to enjoy a breakfast before our long drive home. Our server (waitress )was THE RUDEST one I have ever encountered. And when I confronted her about it, she became sarcastically sweet. At that point we paid for our drinks and left. We never got to the point of being able to order a meal. We most certainly will never try to eat there again. They should change the name of the place to 'Rude.'. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
