We stumbled across Rustic Manor while staying at a nearby motel, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip to Detroit. From the moment my friend and I walked through the door, we felt completely at home. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the locals are incredibly friendly, and it’s the kind of place where it’s easy to strike up a conversation and feel like you’ve been coming for years. A huge thank you to Molly, who took such great care of us, and especially to Heidi, who is an absolute star. She made us the most amazing slow-cooked pulled beef sandwich with an incredible sauce, and the next day she prepared a fantastic burrito that was just as delicious. You can really taste the love and care that goes into the food. The beers were fresh, perfectly poured, and exactly what you want after a long day. Rustic Manor is one of those rare places with great food, great drinks, and even better people. We can’t wait to stop by again the next time we’re in Detroit. Thank you, Heidi! Thank you, Molly! Nice little local dive bar. And I mean this in a good way because there just aren't as many neighborhood bars as there once were. The prices were reasonable and the atmosphere lived up to the bar's name. There was also a pool table. I've yet to try any of their food but it seemed to be the typical bar fare; burgers fries, etc. The lady behind the bar was very friendly and down-to-earth also. Overall, this is a nice blue collar bar that seemed like a good place to drink a couple of brews and maybe shoot a game of pool Price per person: $1–10 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
