Highly recommend! Very glad that we stopped here on our way through Iowa. Had a bunch of different appetizers (portobello fries, roasted Brussels sprouts, pretzels with beer cheese, pub salad) and beignets for dessert, all of which were delicious. They have a huge variety of beers, as well as some really tasty cocktails, and we enjoyed creating our own flights. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the bartender in particular was very knowledgeable about all the different breweries, styles and particular beers. The space was clean and comfortable. It would be the perfect place to host a party. Wish we had this place in our city! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Stopped in for some take out... had to review just to say get those portabello fries! That and brussells sprouts apps were slamming! Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Portobello Fries

If there were negative stars available for review on Yelp, Salt of the Hearth earned them, but perhaps that is being too kind. $15.00 for a meat appetizer, $15.00 for a cheese appetizer, $14.00 for two glasses of house Pinot Grigio, all of which we would have been glad to pay had the quality of food and service been present. We waited over twenty-minutes for something that takes less than 5 minutes to prepare as this relates to the appetizers. This wait was explained as a, "computer glitch" but this was not articulated to us until we politely asked what may be the delay. The picture of the prosciutto (if that's what it is was 95% fat) distinctly sums up the experience. This restaurant was promoted in The Register as having a great wine, beer, and menu. While our experience and sampling was limited, if this sampling is indicative of the entire menu and experience, I would highly recommend to ownership to up their game! This was a complete waste of money! It took longer to receive our order of appetizers than to write this review...
