I recently visited Co Zen restaurant and had a mixed experience. The food was decent—nothing particularly outstanding, but still acceptable overall. However, what really affected my visit was the service. The staff at the counter who took orders and handled payment had a very poor attitude. They didn’t smile at all and came across as quite cold and unwelcoming. In addition, the other staff members were not much better; they seemed rude and lacked basic politeness. Unfortunately, the unfriendly service overshadowed the otherwise okay food, making the overall experience disappointing. Like some reviewers here, i am a regular customer for many years and yes I found their hainanese chicken rice quality degrades since the staff change back in July 24(change ownership?), especially in the past month or so. The chicken is no longer debome properly, in fact I dare to say they simply chop the chicken into pieces and serve to customer. The souce has changed completely. I am really hoping they bring back the quality they offered before, althoughwise it's a shame to loose your regular customers. Yes they offered cheap food and I shouldn't expect much, but the quality shouldn't degrades this much, especially when they have increased the price few times since last year.
