We spent the day at Soros Beach Club and honestly, this is what a beach club should be. Soros sits on one of the most beautiful stretches of Antiparos, with ridiculously clear Aegean water right in front of you. We settled into our sunbeds and basically stopped moving. Comfortable beds, cold drinks coming directly to you, great music, and service throughout the day. We came with our kids and everyone was happy. Then we went to the restaurant and this is where Soros surprised us. This is not “good food for a beach club.” The food is GOOD. The sushi especially was excellent. Fresh, beautifully prepared, and exactly what you want after spending half the day in the water. The menu mixes Greek and Mediterranean food with seafood and Japanese influences, which sounds ambitious for a beach club, but somehow works. I read some mixed reviews about the service before going. Our experience was the complete opposite. Everyone taking care of us was attentive, friendly and professional from beginning to end. We didn’t stay at the hotel, so I’m only reviewing the beach club and restaurant. If you’re staying on Paros and have a car, take the ferry over to Antiparos and make a day of Soros. Yes, you have to make the trip. Yes, it’s worth it. Clear water. Great food. Drinks on the beach. Kids swimming. Nowhere else you need to be. That’s a pretty damn good day in Greece.

We rented a room for one night and had a very disappointing experience, starting with both check-in and check-out. There was no reception staff to be found, which made even basic interactions frustrating. While the beach itself is nice, the beach club clearly aims for a “luxury” image through Veuve Clicquot branding, but apart from high prices, there is nothing truly luxurious about the experience. Despite having many staff members on site and relatively few guests, the service was inefficient and unhelpful. Important to note: if you rent a room (which we would not recommend), you do not get access to the beach facilities such as daybeds — which are themselves significantly overpriced. Overall, the experience does not justify the cost, believe me you would rather go somewhere else :) Service: 1
