Disappointing and misleading. I visited for a dine-in experience based on their website showing food options, but was frustrated to find out they only serve sweets. Communication was a major issue—the staff had no idea what I was talking about and struggled to understand me. The only silver lining was that they managed to serve us tea, even though it wasn't even on the menu. We ended up leaving and finding a nearby cafe that actually served real food. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SAR 1–20

Great spot for studying, working and/or reading. The place is spacious, sunny, and comfortable to sit for long times. The coffee is good and reasonably priced. Plenty of parking spots. Outdoor seatings are available as well. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SAR 1–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I recently visited Spirit Café and was genuinely impressed by the ambiance and creativity in their menu. One of the highlights was their hibiscus drink, which was not only delicious but also uniquely enhanced with dried barberries (berberis) — a refreshing and well-balanced twist that truly stood out. The space itself is beautifully designed, comfortable, and inviting. My initial impression was so positive that I was ready to give them a solid 5 out of 5 rating. However, my experience was significantly marred by an unfortunate interaction. After taking a very small puff from my vape — which produced no visible smoke — I was approached by the cashier and firmly told that smoking was not allowed. While I completely respect and understand no-smoking policies, the manner in which the message was delivered was surprisingly rude and unnecessarily harsh. I felt embarrassed and disrespected, especially given that there was no visible signage indicating a no-smoking rule anywhere in the café. This could have easily been handled in a more polite and professional way. As a result, despite the quality of the drinks and the setting, I left with a negative feeling and have no intention of returning — even if it were the last café in Riyadh.
