Let me tell you something about this specific Indian cuisine. I work FIFO. I’m sure when it’s fly out day, everyone is excited to see their family or their friends and make new memories…. But me? I’m excited to be greeted by this generous man and a welcoming smile makes my day almost instantly. The one thing that ties it all together is their perfectly made butter chicken that tastes like heaven. It’s as if all the blood, sweat and tears and all the consecutive 12 hour work days, one after the other makes it worth it to just sit down and enjoy a plate of butter chicken and rice, with a side of buttered naan bread and cold bottle of coke. If there’s anything more wonderful than the food itself, it’s the service. As soon as I come up to the register, the man already knows what I want. I preach to my team members and anyone around me how marvellous this place is. Personally, an RnR is incomplete unless I’ve come to this place at least once…. Or twice but who’s really counting when the meal can satisfy the hunger of a thousand souls. I promise, to the end of my days, this is the best butter chicken in Perth, if not the world. I refuse to eat butter chicken from any other restaurant or any half baked grocery store bought packet. 2 Fat Indians have nothing compared to Saaj Indian cuisine. It is a hill I will die on.
