Tried this place on a recommendation, we walked in and the owner (older gentlemen) I presume just stared at us. I pointed to a table and nothing, said for 2 please and he said pick wherever. This place is dark inside and the booths are old and duct-taped together. He came by, dropped off menus and walked away. Maybe it is just him, but zero friendliness or customer service. He came, took our order (was very rushed) food came, it was fine, sauce is in little packets and limited to 2 of each. Simple pho and satay and the price was okay. We sat for a while waiting for him to come over, but he was sitting on his phone behind the desk. We went up to pay and ask for take out containers for our left overs and he was visibly annoyed that we even asked. He charged us for the containers and just stared at us again. We promptly cleaned up and left. We will not be back. We were hoping since this was close it would work for a great option as we love veitnamese food, but we will continue to go to the various edmonton restaurants with better customer service, atmosphere and food. We weren't looking for a smiling, bubbly host, but at least someone who didn't feel annoyed they had to work and get off their phone. Much better places out there!
