I have been going here for 10+ years . I have absolutely never slandered this place or tried to diminish them about what I have seen in this Restaurant but I have recently stopped going for a couple months now and recently just came back to see how things are if anything changed . I don't wanna stop anybody from enjoying their experience here but they have indeed changed over the years . The last time I Dine In they really tried to swindle me and for surely over charged me for something that was not suppose to be over charged for but only a upcharge of 5 or 6 $ I always go for the lunch time special just because I Know their Prices I never thought they would over charge me for something I normally order . Then try to persway you to keep ordering things just so they can get more money out of you then will try to tax and add more gratuity cost to your bill . Not sure on to why they would do that to a customer who has been supporting them over the years introducing new people to them. I always tip the cooks and sometimes the waiter if the service is good . I Am highly disappointed because I always talked good about them to other people and their services and they really tried to play me this time and didn't even stand to correct their mistake when I know every last one of them . I am not a combative person or aggressive toward people especially towards anybody in their workspace but I am truly hurt they did that to me. I never had any issues before with them but now I see they probably needed the money more than me for them to even think it was ok to do . I arrived midweek, dining solo. I found ample parking, and I was seated immediately upon my arrival. My server was attentive and knowledgeable. Dining alone, I wasn't much of a challenge for her. However, I observed her interactions with a larger, more demanding party, including children, seated nearby. She was courteous and patient with this party as well. The edemami and nabeyaki udon were excellent. I was delighted that both were served piping hot, which is a pet peeve. I'm not a fast eater. Food served lukewarm often gets cold before I am even halfway finished. This wasn't the case at Sake Bon II. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30
