This review was for the sushi not hibachi. I was hesitant to try this place based on the reviews of poor service etc. I will say we had an amazing server who made accommodations to special order requests. I had the Hanna Roll and sashimi app. Huge pieces of salmon and tuna. Delicious flavor on the roll. I highly recommend this place. We did go soon after opening without reservations and had no issues Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I was very disappointed with our experience at Sakura. The food wasn't the best and did not live up to our expectations. The hibachi experience was also extremely boring. We've been to many hibachi restaurants before, and they're usually fun, interactive, and entertaining. This one had very little interaction, making the experience feel flat and underwhelming. What bothered us the most, however, was how unfriendly the staff was toward our 2-year-old. We understand that toddlers can be unpredictable, and we were doing our best to keep him calm and respectful. Instead of showing patience or kindness, the staff made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. A family restaurant should treat all guests with respect, including young children. Between the disappointing food, the lackluster hibachi experience, and the poor service, we won't be returning or recommending this restaurant. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

My business partner and I put together a last minute dinner meeting and showed up to Sakura Home without a reservation, during a busy dinner hour. Our server and host, Kenneth, took the extra steps to set us up in their traditional Japanese private dining room, which was quite a private and unique experience. The chefs presented us with an over-the-top delivery that dramatically exceeded expectations (see pics!). We were blown away! The fish was fresh, the rolls were creative, and the overall meal and service were truly exceptional. Thanks, Ken, for your excellent and thoughtful service. We’ll be back soon! Highly recommend Sakura Home for sushi or hibachi. Both are great. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
