Absolutely terrible experience at Salad House in Rutherford. I ordered a salad and specifically paid for double portions. What I received looked like a child’s portion—extremely skimpy, poorly made, and nowhere near what I paid for. It honestly felt like they assumed I wouldn’t notice. To make matters worse, I clearly stated that I was dining in. Despite that, they made the order to-go and simply handed the bag to me while I was already sitting at a table inside the restaurant. The lack of attention and professionalism was unbelievable. This was easily one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had anywhere. The food preparation was careless, the portioning was completely unacceptable, and the staff appeared either poorly trained or completely uninterested in doing their jobs properly. Management needs to take a serious look at what’s happening here before more customers walk away disappointed. Based on my experience, the operation felt disorganized, unprofessional, and far below the standard any paying customer should expect. I will not be returning. Good place for a quick lunch but it's overpriced for what you get. I ordered the Apple Waldy, which was supposed to come with Roman's lettuce but showed up with iceberg lettuce, and it was alright but not worth more than $7 or $8. My wife ordered one of the chicken wraps and she said it was very good. The fries tha came with the wrap were definitely very good. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

I ordered the sweet potato fries and received a mix of purple potatoes, russet potatoes and sweet potatoes. Barely any actual sweet potatos. Absolutely absurd and not what i wanted to spend my money on. You should have on your menu mixed potato fries, if that was printed I would have never ordered.
