We arrived early and on a sunday. They was still going to try and shuffle to fit us in .Did have a problem with an order at our table. Complete accident , rectified very quickly staff was amazing will return. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Very disappointing. I have been for the carvery 3 times and because it was so good I decided to take the family there for my daughters birthday. The meat was fine but roast potatoes were horrible, broccoli and cauliflower was so under cooked we couldn't even cut it. The sausages were very unpleasant. After bragging to my family about how this place had the best roast, I felt very embarrassed as neither of them finished their meal, nor did I. Then I ordered 2 scoops of ice cream which came served in a small drinking glass?? What happened?? Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Only have 1 star because there was no zero stars and it would not let me post the review without a star rating. We had a table for 6 people booked for 12:30 on Bank Holiday Monday. Rang them the night before to check if it would be a problem if we moved the booking forward 30 minutes to 12:00. We arrived at 11:50 to be greeted absolutely obnoxious male on front of house whose 1st comment to us was not "Welcome, follow me to you seats" it was "Just to let you know, the table is rebooked out for 2pm" How is that our problem, we didn't rebook the table out so why are we being made to feel we are going to have to rush our Bank Holiday family meal out. Totally rude and put us on edge before we had even sat at our table. Message to all the staff at The Sally Pussey's Inn, Swindon - we are doing you a favour by eating in your restaurant, you are not doing us a favour! There are an abundance of good food pubs and restaurants out there and needless to say, you didn't get my hard earned money on this occasion and nir will you for as long as I live. Absolutely disgusting attitude. If you don't like being in hospitality, there are plenty of other jobs out there to do!

We do have a 2 hour time allocation per booking due to high demand, but I regret that the way this was communicated to you felt rushed and unwelcoming.
