Our family local restaurant after living 5 minutes away for 34 years has sadly let us down. 10 of us went in for father’s day ages 0 to 91 and although one waitress was very welcoming, we felt like everything was too much effort for the other even though the entire place was empty. As usual we do a tab, but after we all got drinks and sat down the waitress shouted across in front of other guests that the card hadn’t work, as if she was trying to embarrass us. It turned out the tab had been opened with a working card but put under a different table. We have a vegan adult and three vegan children in our group yet to actually find suitable children vegan items on the menu, you’d be buying multiple meals. Last time we visited we were able to swap out non-vegan items to vegan but this time it was a case of you get what you’re given. This father’s day started off terrible at the clipper until we called the kings arms in beb who welcomed us in. We were happy to spend over £200 with them. It’s sad to see our local push away guests who’ve been coming for many, many years. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Vegetarian offerings: Not sure
