Came in for the 1st time because it was recommended to me by friends. I saw a special for a 1/2 turkey melt, soup and a drink so I figured that would have been a pretty good start if it was a special, only for it to come out and I was already immediately disappointed even before tasting the sandwich. So disappointed that it didn't even deserve a photo in my phone. Such a sad looking sandwich for it to be a "special". The saddest looking 2 slices of bread that wasn't even toasted, making it even worse, the bread would just fall apart each time I would take a bite; on top of that, the sandwich was supposed to be a MELT! Cold sandwich with no toasted bread for a "melt" is crazy. On the positive side (because the whole bread thing pissed me off for a sandwich shop). Prices are pretty decent for a sandwich shop, everything is like $12-$15 and the meats are piled high, making the sandwiches nice and filling. Soups are amazing, I had the clam chowder and it was actually pleasant, which leads me to believe the food is actually good, however, being called "The Sandwich Shop" I expected more from your sandwiches, at least toast your bread. Very disappointed in the half turkey "melt". Would probably love this place if I got one of the better looking sandwiches but idk, after my experience today, probably gonna stay away.
