Sarouja on Tahlia Street is one of the few restaurants that consistently delivers an outstanding dining experience. Having previously visited their Dammam branch, I was curious to see whether the Riyadh location would maintain the same standards. I am happy to say that it absolutely does. The quality, flavors, and attention to detail are just as impressive. The grills are excellent across the board, cooked perfectly and packed with authentic flavor. Their chicken kebab is a standout dish and remains one of the best I have tried. The grilled kibbeh is also highly recommended and reflects the restaurant’s commitment to quality and traditional taste. The appetizers and salads are fresh, generous, and full of flavor, making them a perfect complement to the main dishes. What impresses me most is the consistency between branches. Whether in Riyadh or Dammam, the food quality, service, and overall experience remain at the same high level, which is a testament to the restaurant’s standards. If you are looking for authentic grilled cuisine with excellent quality and consistency, Sarouja on Tahlia Street is definitely worth visiting. Undoubtedly one of the best grills in Riyadh. But the staff behavior I did not like at all. I have been there 5 times. The last 2 times when I visited without any Saudi friend, both the time the waiter behaved and looked at me like "the grill is 120 riyals, do you have this money?" Even he took payment both times before serving the food! Whereas for all the other guests, they brought bills after they finished eating, as usual. I found this very insulting, to be honest. Did not expect this at all from a place like Saruja. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SAR 60–80 Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4
