An absolute gem of cultivated hospitality and cuisine. Rarely have we eaten so well and, above all, have rarely received such competent and courteous advice and service. Mr. Glöckler and Binyam (hope I spelled their names correctly) take exemplary care of their guests. You should follow the food and drink recommendations blindly, they are direct hits. So place yourself trustingly in their hands, your taste buds will thank you. It's a shame that you can't give more stars. Thank you for the wonderful hours in the incredibly loving atmosphere. First of all, the ambience is as expected and we liked it. The personal support of the operator and the young, nice employee is very friendly and he responds personally to each guest with tips and suggestions. The unobtrusive manner also deserves the grade 1. You can ring the bell as soon as you want something and you won't be annoyed every 10 minutes. Thank you again for the beautiful bell. We had such a lovely experience on April 26, 2023. My clients had landed earlier that day from Kansas, and for three of them, this would be their first dinner in Germany - ever. In fact, First dinner in Europe! We were taken care of in such fine, classic style. Like being guests in a refined and historic home. Classical music in the background, candlelight and lovely furnishings, perfect ambience. I saw a young couple in a window seat and imagined myself there with my own special one. I can highly recommend the Alte Rentkammer. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €20–30
