Wow! The food here at Schnitz is supreme! The service is amazing and nothing was too much trouble. The man that served us was so happy and friendly. I would 10/10 recommend and full chefs kiss for their chips! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Dietary restrictions: They accommodated our dairy free person no problems.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Schnitz Chermside (Westfield Chermside) on Wednesday night around 6:30–7:00pm. My friends and I were served by a new employee who explained it was only her third shift. She was polite but understandably nervous, and we were patient throughout the ordering process, which took around ten minutes. I asked to use my Schnitz cash and had approximately $6 available. I was told my entire order had been processed using it, which immediately seemed incorrect. I even showed my bank transactions to confirm no payment had been taken. After waiting about fifteen minutes, I was informed the payment had not gone through and had to return to the counter to repay. I made it clear I had no issue with the new employee and simply suggested she may need more support. A staff member wearing glasses responded in a dismissive and aggressive tone, saying, “It’s not our fault we’re understaffed and I can’t do anything about it.” That response was unnecessary and unprofessional. When my meal arrived, it was incorrect. I had ordered BBQ relish instead of Napoli sauce on my parmi. When I politely raised this, I was told I had said “tomato sauce instead of Napoli” which does not remain relevant and to my knowledge it’s never been a tomato sauce based so does not make any sense. rather than resolving the mistake, I was accused of having an attitude and had been told too “watch my attitude” and making the new employee cry — which is completely untrue. I remained calm the entire time. Most concerning was that they refused to remake my order and instead told me to take a refund and leave, saying they were “wary” of my behaviour. I was also refused when I asked for the staff members’ names. I left feeling embarrassed and disrespected. I have been a loyal customer, but after this experience, I won’t be returning to Schnitz unless this matter is addressed. I hope management reviews CCTV footage and provides additional training and support to staff to prevent situations like this from happening again. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

ok so the deserts were not a 10/10 but the food was, the chicken was so good and juicy, and paired well with the rainbow slaw, but the thing that tied it all up was the service cause if the food is bad but the service is good then I will forget about the service and think about the food. I think his name is Musu tall brown island fella, yea his experience was the thing that tied our shintz experience up. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: A$60–80 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
