I have never called out a business like this, but it’s something I feel like I have to do. I have worked for Scotties-Bistro for the past year and a half, for a year everything was great. I have stayed through all the craziness that happened with switching management and team members. I went on vacation with my parents at the end of September and received a message saying there needs to be a meeting when I come back. Of course I was panicking and when I went into said meeting I felt talked down to and bullied. Yes everyone can work on things but for you to say to me “your business is picking up so I guess that will be your first priority so we are going to start treating you like you are our second priority” it is completely disgusting. I should have walked away then because I knew in my mind that was not how someone should talk to you. I was told I would only be on Sundays working and so I finally started taking my business seriously (never took off for my business and never put it over my job) and I filled my Saturdays up with trade shows. Then they took me off of the schedule for one week just to do it. The communication is completely horrible. Anytime I text or message I NEVER get a response until a week or so later. I have been so stressed out and walking on eggshells and I am just fed up with it. This last Sunday I celebrated my birthday with my regulars at work and I got this message after I got home. So you can no longer have “regulars” even if a customer asks for you they are now going to be told they can’t have the server they want. After this I made a Facebook post thanking everyone for making my day at work (only customers) and I get taken off the schedule for making a post on MY Facebook. I’m tired of the nonsense and drama and I just wanted to show everyone exactly what kind of company this is. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
