Extremely disappointed with our recent experience at The Statler. My wife accidentally left her purse at the bar this past weekend. We realized it quickly and went back to retrieve it, only to find that $200 in cash had been stolen out of it. The purse was supposedly only handled by bar staff, the front desk, and security during the time it was 'safeguarded.' When we brought this to their attention, security was completely dismissive and claimed they 'couldn't review the cameras.' We have been waiting for the manager to provide answers, but the lack of urgency and accountability is pathetic for a hotel of this caliber. If you value your belongings, be extremely careful here. We have filed a formal police report with the Dallas PD and will be escalating this to Hilton Corporate. It’s a shame that a beautiful hotel is overshadowed by dishonest staff and a management team that doesn't care about guest safety. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Fun atmosphere with bowling, pool tables and a full bar. Concept is great, however service is sub par. Considering there is an automatic gratuity added, I feel customer service could definitely improve. One bartender/server managing the entire area on a weekend is not realistic. Customers were left waiting and frustrated, even the bartenders attitude reflected her frustration. Food and drinks are good but something definitely needs to improve, especially with automatic gratuity. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

My recent visit to Scout was transformed into an extraordinary experience thanks to the Food and Beverage Manager, Christina. From the moment we arrived, Christina was not only a host but also a guide to the Dallas area. Her extensive knowledge about the city and insights into our hotel were incredibly helpful. Her recommendations extended beyond the menu, enhancing our entire stay in the city. At the restaurant, Christina's expertise shone through every recommendation. She was respectful, kind, and exuded a warm, loving presence that made us feel right at home. Her ability to communicate effectively with both guests and her team was evident, displaying top-notch management and leadership skills. Whether she was coordinating with her staff or ensuring guests had everything they needed, Christina was always in control, ensuring a seamless experience. It was not just her knowledge of food and drinks that impressed us, but how she made every interaction personal and meaningful. Christina is a true gem at Scout Dallas, embodying the spirit of hospitality at its finest. I highly recommend visiting just for the chance to meet her and experience her exceptional service.
