Truth to be told, the place from the entrance looks very dodgy. There is a pool table, usually busy and some small tables to sit. However, if you are able to go out of your comfort zone and give it a chance, you'll have a wholesome and delicious Ethiopian meal. Once we sat the lady (cook and I imagine the owner) asked if we spoke Italian or Maltese, since we couldn't, she found someone to assist us with English, the question as simple as "do you want meat?", as we said yes, and "oh boy" it was SO delicious, very well seasoned and the portion was humongous. Payment only in cash, super cheap, for us it was 30€ the whole meal with water. And last but not least, you could see that the lady was happy to prepare the meal for us. Definitely worth the try! A little different than other restaurants, but definitely worth the experience! There is no menu, we were just asked if we eat meat. We got a large plate with some typical Eritrean bread and several fillings to share. Instead of cutlery we got a large roll of napkins to clean our hands afterwards. The food was prepared freshly and delicious and it was very cool to try it in such an authentic way. The other people in the bar seemed to be regular customers and mostly there to hang out. We felt welcome and enjoyed it. We can recommend it! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €10–15 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Even though the restaurant seemed unusual at first, we really enjoyed having chosen this restaurant! The food was delicious, there was no menu but we were given a plate with 4 different meat/vegetarian stews with Injera, the Eritrean bread. It was quite an experience grabbing the stews with the bread as traditionally eaten (without cutlery) and we received some paper towels. The cook was really welcoming too. We paid 30€ for 2 persons and can only recommend this restaurant! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €10–15 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
