I know this place since the day it opened. Been there lots of times always left with the best impressions. Very nice quality food, calm environment , good aesthetics and so far excellent service. Unfortunately the last time we went things got a bit weird. We were 8 people and we made quite a big order. It was a really warm night, during July’s heatwave in Athens, and as it’s obvious we were thirsty. After several times that we ordered water and they brought us bottled, we decided to ask for tap water. In our surprise they told us that this was not an option!!! And according to the restaurant’s policy tap water was impossible. Is it their right to do so? Maybe.. what I know is that Sempreviva was once a friendly place to go, friendly for people that value good food, good service and of course their money. Making profit in such ways is simply cheap not kind. Not to mention the food portions that suddenly became half! Sempreviva was once our place to eat, now it’s just another place Price per person: €25–30 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
