I hosted a despedida dinner for my balikabayan brother and his family at Sentro 1771 Capitol Commons last Feb 2026. The total experience in one word: terrible. It has been five months since that disastrous dinner, and I am still not over the trauma. The dishes served were so disappointing, I wanted to cry. The pork sisig was particularly frustrating because it was one of the first to be served. They were served in hot plates, but they were not sizzling, just swimming in oil, and they really tasted like left-over sisig. Corned beef sinigang was salty. Like the dinuguan, the crispy pata was not remarkable. The first glass of bottomless sago't gulaman was, to be fair, very refreshing and tasty for everyone. But as the refills came in, the sago and gulaman went scarce and drinks turned mostly into arnibal in water. Worst thing is my brother insisted on footing the P30K+ bill, which was big bucks for such an underwhelming dinner. I hope I can redeem myself in the future, but certainly not at this restaurant, never again. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₱2,500–3,000

First time trying Sentro 1771 at Capitol Commons! The food was delicious, the ambiance was lovely, and the service from the staff was top-notch. The only downside was seeing various cooking and catering supplies scattered around the restaurant. It makes the space feel a bit cramped. I wish they get a dedicated room for their extra appliances so it doesn't distract from the otherwise great dining vibe. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₱1–500 Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options: Paid parking lot Parking: You can park at Estancia Mall, adjacent to Sentro 1771 Wheelchair accessibility: They both have al fresco and indoor dining on the ground floor.

Corned beef sinigang is TOO MUCH SALTY! I said to the waiter I’d prefer to have less salt and more sour. But it’s still too much salty! And I have to add hot water to the soup…. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₱500–1,000
