Yesterday I bought a "cheese kottu" (that's what they call it) to take home and It was the worst "Kottu" I have ever ate!
It was very pale in color , and not spicy at all. (See my attached photo)
It has not been roasted in a pan , just mixed the stuffs together
There was
NO cheese
NO vegetables
NO spices or chillies
NO curry
But there was :
Eggs + few pieces of Roasted Chicken (Appreciate! at least they have added them)
Kankun stems (Water spinach)
Chili Paste
It used to be a good place in the early days when it was started, But now its utterly waste to go there.
I recommend you to not to go this place!
According to their menu they have a many food items, specially some good dessert items. But now they do not give that "small" and "large" quantity options in any food items. Well that's an issue as I guess. Because now you can't order a large fried rice and split with 2 people. You have to order separately for each and everyone. But biriyani sawaans are available which you can split with around 5 people. Kottu seems better than earlier and now they have sandwiches and that type of food according to their menu. There's a slight issue with the serving because they take a long time to serve.

This is one of the places that I go to grab a quick lunch at Kollupitiya area, since it is located near my campus. I'm really disappointed to say that the quality of their food has been degraded within a short period, just few months. In here, the prices of the food get higher day by day. You will not be able to eat the same food for the same price when you visit there in the next day. They have so many excuses towards that, because they think that we are not regular customers, and therefore we do not know the prices. We can give a slight excuse for paying that price if they prepare food in a good manner, at least as they used to do it. But the thing is now the food is really horrible.
Recently I went and ordered an egg kottu, and trust me it had only carrots and Godhamba roti pieces , but nothing else. It tasted really bad, so I just left after paying for it. And the funny thing was I ate a way better kottu from here two weeks back and it costed Rs.50 less than the price I paid for this horrible one. Honestly, ordering that horrible food is a total waste of money.
Usually I go to this place at least once a week, but after the above incident, I decided to not to set foot here again.
