It was just ok, ordered the pork melt sandwich, wet which I assumed meant the sauce was on the sandwich. Got it home and I basically had dried bacon jerky on bread. It was the most dried out BBQ I have seen in town. There was some flavor there for sure and had the bbq been even the slightest bit fresh it might have been good but it was like eating tree bark. Don’t get the chicken tenders! Mine were soo dry, that I had to take off most of the breading, my jaw hurt from chewing and the chicken was a dried yellow around the breading. I could only eat the very center of each tender. I’m glad I got the 6pc, because I only ate about 3 tenders. Not worth the price of $20/pp with sides & drink. This is my new favorite BBQ place in the Chattanooga area. I ordered the half chicken, tender and delicious, with potato salad and baked beans. The potato salad is a southern style Mayo mix is based. The baked beans were great, the right amount of thick, if you know what I mean. my husband had the pulled pork plate. The high quality of the pork stood out. The sauces are great. I recommend spicy. It's not very hot but gives a nice kick. The prices are fair. Not only will we return, but we absolutely can not wait to try it again! Vegetarian options: Shane's Rib Shack menu offers vegetable plates and has a large selection of cooked vegetables to choose from. Salads and Baked potatoes. Kid-friendliness: Great selection for the kids' menu. Similar choices to the adults but lesser in price. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.
