I just bought off-road diesel at RH Foster on Hammond St Bangor. Since it isn't subject to road taxes, it should be 40–60 cents per gallon cheaper than on-road diesel. RH Foster's price? $5.49 per gallon for off-road diesel and $5.59 per gallon for on-road diesel. A whopping 10-cent difference. So what happened to the other 30–50 cents per gallon that should have stayed in customers' pockets? RH Foster kept it. While working people are struggling with higher prices on everything from groceries to heating fuel, RH Foster appears perfectly willing to pocket nearly all of the tax savings and pass almost none of it on to customers. Call it whatever you want, but charging nearly the same price for untaxed fuel as taxed fuel feels like blatant profiteering. RH Foster, you're not helping Maine families—you’re helping drive the frustration that people feel every time they pull up to the pump.

Every time I gas up with Shell the windshield washer buckets are always empty. How much effort would it take to dump some windshield fluid in every day. Probably 5 minutes time but they are too cheap to use a couple gallons of fluid. Spend a few hundred in gas and convenience item a month there and can't clean the bugs off my windshield. I need to get an Irvine Gas card.
