Early June 2026 Basic Shell station with Shell Go store. Pretty much one of the older branches along C5. Rates are cheaper compared to Ortigas CBD area

I had a very disappointing experience at a Shell Helix OilChange+ service center. Instead of performing a proper diagnostic, the mechanic immediately suggested replacing a part based on assumption. I trusted their advice, only to find out later — through a local talyer and then the Casa — that the real issue was with a completely different part. The one they replaced was not faulty at all. Not only was it a waste of time and money, but they also ended up damaging a perfectly working component. What made the situation worse was how they handled it. When their recommendation didn’t fix the problem, they shifted the blame onto me as if I had made the decision, when in fact, I simply followed their suggestion as the so-called professionals. Even the basic oil change service was poorly done, which says a lot about the overall quality of their work. This experience has made me lose confidence in this Shell Helix branch. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend it to others based on what I went through. The management should review the mechanic of this branch.
