This is the first time that we have eaten at the new location in Farmers Lane Village. I had eaten several times at the previous location in Montgomery Village. The new location did not disappoint. The interior decoration was done well. All the tables and chairs are new. We were greeted at the front door by the host and seated immediately at a table of our selection. The food was fresh and prepared well. We tried a wide variety of items from the menu so that we could do the most accurate review possible. It's the best sushi I've had in Santa Rosa in the last few years. My girlfriend is also a Google reviewer, and she rated this restaurant five stars. I can't say enough good things. The food was prepared perfectly. It was brought to the table quickly. Our waitress was very attentive and professional. She made sure that we had everything that we wanted. There wasn't a moment that we felt ignored. Good food, good service, good staff, good prices. Around six pm the restaurant filled up quickly. First time at Shogun and I was blown away by the excellent service, quality of the fish, and economical prices compared to other restaurants. I highly recommend them as someone who eats sushi every other week. I will be returning. My new favorite spot! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
