The staff make this café outstanding – they make an effort to remember your name, regardless of whether or not you later become a regular customer - and the waitresses/waiters there are outwardly friendly.
Sidando’s interior design features an endearing pastiche of Mediterranean-inspired furniture, rock-crystal ornamentation, a thoughtfully arranged, well-stocked wall of books, and a beautifully vibrant, fantastical mural.
The previous incarnation of this café, called “Icoco”, served decent food, but at best, delivered mediocre service. The new owners have conducted an overhaul for the better. As a resident of Milsons Point for about 10 years, I have seen the new owners of Sidando turn what was then a decent café into an excellent café. Three years ago, the then Icoco would be half full on the weekends. Nowadays, you would be hard pressed to find a table if you show up in the late morning/early afternoon on Saturday and Sundays.
Well done to the team at Sidando. I hope they continue to carry on business and open for dinner soon!
