Beautiful decorated and vibey bar. Drinks were very creative and I loved how the menu was references to movies. On a Friday night music was good but not too loud so you could still have a convo. Waitress with nose bridge piercing was really lovely and looked after our table well. Thank you!

I thought I’d written a review before but couldn’t see it, so here it goes again. Back in June, my boy was running down Duke Street and tripped on a dip in the pavement. He landed right on his face. At first he seemed okay, just a bit stunned, but as we walked past Sister Ray he caught his reflection in a mirrored window and we saw his cheekbone had swollen up like a golf ball. We went straight into the bar, and honestly, the staff couldn’t have been more attentive. They immediately brought out a fresh cloth with ice for him, got us both a drink while we sat out the front, and kept checking in to make sure he was alright. They were so kind and lovely to my lad, which meant the world at that moment. I couldn’t believe I’d never been before – the decor is stunning, the atmosphere great, and the team were genuinely wonderful. Unfortunately, I’ve been busy touring and working all summer so haven’t managed to get back, but I definitely plan to soon. They had decks set up, so I think a DJ slot would be boss! (For anyone wondering – it turned out he’d actually broken his cheekbone! He still remembers the kindness he was shown that day very fondly.)
