I recently had the pleasure of dining at a Skewd Kitchen based in Cockfosters. Surely not my first visit. We wanted to experience the true anatolian flavors so the occasion happened to be on Valentines day. I must say, it was an exquisite culinary experience from start to finish. The flavors, freshness, and authenticity of each dish transported me to the bustling streets of Istanbul. From the savory and aromatic kebabs to the mouthwatering mezze platters, every bite was a celebration of Turkish cuisine. The tender lamb dishes were cooked to perfection, infused with just the right blend of herbs and spices to tantalize the taste buds. The fluffy rice pilaf and crisp, freshly baked bread provided the ideal accompaniments to the main courses, while the tangy yogurt-based sauces added a refreshing contrast to the rich flavors. The baklava, with its layers of flaky pastry and sweet, nutty filling, was the perfect ending to a truly memorable meal.
