The service is always friendly, but *sometimes* a little slow or inattentive (although our most recent couple of visits the service was good). Food is always good and I really like the burgers & fries that were added to the menu. Excellent choice of beers on tap. Usually a good game on the TV. Outdoor seating is a nice option too.

Went to Slices around lunchtime today. One order was a supreme pizza that came out with uncooked bell peppers and mushrooms. When asked what the deal with the uncooked pizza was, we were told that that is how Slices cooked their pizza with vegetables. She also let us know that the uncooked vegetables provide the crunch that some people want to have. The other 2 orders were supposed to be sandwichs on a hoagie roll. One came as the top bun with the fixings, the other order had the bottom bun. When asked what the deal with that was, the explanation was that they slice out the middle and stuff the bread. Which means it isnt a sandwich, it is a hot dog. This description is much more generous than what was actually going on with the food. Unfortunate.. this place used to be pretty good. Won't be back. Is there anything better than traveling and coming into a town that has amazing cheese sticks and pizza that also carry local beer. Great job Slices pizzeria and Fall Line.
