I’ve been customers of Smiling Moose for the last 20 years in both Edwards and Evergreen locations. Usually always a great experience. Today we showed up at 3:30 to Edwards location and immediately were told “ we’re closing in 30 minutes so you’ll need to get your food to go and eat outside” OK, Not the end of the world. However, as we proceeded to order We were told that many of the items had already been put away, soups were cold, au jus for French dip as was already in refrigerator, sign on counter displayed broccoli cheddar soup for soup of the day but when I requested that I was told sorry, we already put it away. Look, I get it that sometimes the staff wants to start cleaning up a bit early, but customers shouldn’t feel like they’re being an inconvenience. If you’re going to stay open till 4 PM, you should serve your full menu and offer good quality until that time, if you want to go home earlier, change your hours. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

Overall, great place! The music thy had playing was enjoyable. The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly. I ordered the Wildfire Chicken - and while the sandwich was delicious, it would have been nice if there was more chicken. My husband ordered the bbq chicken sandwich - he said “for the same price, this is why Chick-fil-a could serve!” He really enjoyed his sandwich. We also split a brownie - which was good. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
