Things I really liked: The most most turkey I've ever had. Fresh pickles, not the ones you get at a fast food place, and sliced onions, actual rings The sweet potatoe with the brown sugar butter is delicious The chicken plates are affordable, let alone the half or whole chicken and wings options The dinner roll is heavenly The drive through window makes this an easy stop with or without kids or pets and there's a big parking lot to let the pets out after you eat Things I didn't like: it's 3 hrs from where I live Price per person: $10–20 Recommended dishes: Potato Salad, Turkey, Rolls

I normally buy by the pound and it never disappoints. But the BBQ sliced brisket left me disappointed. If you’re charging 12 bucks for a sandwich please do better on the pickles and onions. And don’t put all end pieces on one sandwich. Too salty and peppery. Barely edible. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Smolik's Smokehouse, a charming local BBQ spot that truly impressed me with its fantastic brisket. The meat was perfectly smoked, incredibly tender, and had a rich, savory flavor that kept me wanting more. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. While the sides were decent, they didn't quite match the exceptional quality of the brisket. However, the overall experience was still delightful, and I'll definitely be returning to indulge in that mouth-watering brisket again. Highly recommend for any BBQ lover!
