What about the cake? Well, it was pretty decent. It was a white cake with one layer of mango and one layer of mixed fruit. The fruit was clearly fresh, not canned, which was a very nice surprise. The cake itself was light and fluffy. Due to the design of the cake, it was covered in an enormous amount of whipping cream, but I expected that and the cream was light and not too sweet. Overall it was a good cake. But I am really uncomfortable with their business practice. They must know they're incorrectly charging more than double the tax they're legally allowed to. And, frankly, the supposedly regular price of $87 is insane! You'd be a moron to pay that much for a 8" simple mixed fruit cake, even with the design. At the voucher price of $37 it's ok but not a steal. I can't say like/dislike on SnowBear Bakery but I doubt I'll go back.
