I blame myself, as I should've looked at the reviews before coming here. But I was hungry and did a drive-by, I figured I'd give it a chance. Just like many of the reviews sat, I barely had any meat in my cheese steak sandwich. The meat was prepared before, not cooked to order and they steam it in a machine. Meat was warm at best. I believe I can get a better sandwich at a gas station from a microwave! Reading the reviews I can't believe this place is still around for so long. First and last time!

I've been to this place a couple of times and both times I ordered the steak and cheese sub. I recall my 1st visit to be subpar and underwhelming but I decided to give them another shot because I saw a sign outside stating "Friday Special - $5 steak and cheese." Let's just say, after my second visit I remembered why I hadn't gone back to Skibo's and honestly probably never will again. I was disappointed with everything from the wait, to the service, to the extra charge for toppings, to the terrible cheesesteak sub. I'll even admit that I felt I wasted $5 on a "special" that tasted bad. There was only a couple of people ahead of me on line when I arrived and there was a staff of 3 so there's NO reason it took about 15 min to get my sub. The ladies behind the counter all looked miserable and not friendly at all. I order the $5 steak and cheese special which was a tiny 8-inch sub with no toppings. I don't think you should be given a cheesesteak without onions and peppers and was charged an extra .75 which I felt was a bit petty. Mushrooms were another .75 upcharge so I declined. The sub was "toasted and pressed" but when I got home it wasn't even toasted and the onions and peppers were soggy and terrible. The meat was probably the worst I've ever had. Question....what's a "Skibo" anyway?? Nevermind, it doesn't even matter!
